An evening of 70s and 80s post-punk, new wave, indie, goth and alternative music from DJs Aidan and Vince, interspersed with live twenty minute electronic music sets from Flooded Access, M-Orchestra and Obscenity State. Free entry, 7pm to 11pm:
FLOODED ACCESS – Flooded Access is the performing name of sound and visual artist Martin Lau. His sound work involves the creation of improvised noise/soundscapes.
M-ORCHESTRA – Walthamstow-based Martin Belam uses archive footage and vintage 80s keyboard sounds to make “Fortean Electronica”, songs about ghosts and witches, spirits and seances, haunted places and haunted people.
OBSCENITY STATE – Passion, blood ties and cultural complexity drive the cinematic vision behind Nilly Brook’s Obscenity State, with a unique blend of electronica, post-punk sonics, twisting female vocals and intense dance rhythms.
